I am unable to get an appointment for my daughter, apparently self harming is not classed as an emergency and I was told to call back again in the morning (3rd day in a row) or wait 2/3 weeks for an appointment!!!!!!
The receptionist told me quote "Oh, my niece does this, I understand"!" Is she even serious, the place is an absolute joke!
Calling to ask why medication (due 26th Jan) requested had been refused as no reason given or phone call - so phoned fri 28th - took 25 mins to get through from 8.36 - receptionist said she would look into it. Called again Mon 31st Jan - waited 43 mins and 50 secs from 9.34 to get through - no apology - receptionist said it was Monday and busy and prescription was now with doctor to sign off so it would be another 48 hrs before it went to pharmacy... The waiting times to speak to a receptionist varies between 23 and 43 mins - total joke and substandard service
To whom it may concern
I had booked a phone appointment this Saturday am regarding some long term issues concerning slight intermittant numbness and aches and tendeness in my wrists and arms. Dr Nidhi Bhargava phoned my mobile c.09-00 but I was unable to connect for some reason. I tried to phone back but the number was classed as private. I then tried to phone the surgery but to no avail. I am at at a loss how to actually even talk to a doctor. Whilst it is appreciated that Covid has had major impact on productivity the lack of contact with qualified staff is not acceptable for a system which purports to give universal care at point of need. I would say that when I do actully interface with the GPs they are generally very good at listening and diagnosing the the complaint. The problem is actually meeting them.

Friendly stuff and the doctors and nurses are brilliant coping very well with covid and making sure all patients are safe.
The staff is rude, not helpful at all.
Getting an appointment is IMPOSSIBLE.
